How did Paul come up with the name DaSquirrelsNuts?
When originally looking for a username for PSN, he wanted to go with something witty, based off an English saying “The dogs b**cks” He figured as he liked squirrels, he would go for something like “The squirrels nuts” however due to a restriction of letters on XBL, the “the” had to be replaced with “da” hence the name “DaSquirrelsNuts”

How old is Paul?
Old enough to have owned a ZX Spectrum when he was a kid. You do the maths.

Paul is a full time Content Creator on YouTube and Twitch, as of 2nd of April 2015.

YOTS stands for Year Of The Squirrel, YOTS started on the 2nd of April 2015 and is representing the first year since Paul became a full time content creator.

It’s not easy, but his wife gives him amazing support and he couldn’t have done it without her.

How can I become a Moderator for Paul?
Once in a while we recruit new moderators. When this happens it will be announced on the stream and in the Squirrel TV Discord. Anyone can apply to become a moderator but very few are chosen. You do not need to be a subscriber or a donator to be chosen. To stand the best chance of being picked be seen to be an active and helpful member within the community.

Doyle and Pippa

Who are the dogs on the stream?
The dogs on the Stream are named Doyle and Pippa. Doyle is also the stream mascot – you won’t see one day without the chat asking to see him.

How old are Doyle and Pippa?
Doyle, my beloved dog and the channel mascot, sadly passed away 27th June 2010 – 17th Jan 2024.

Pippa was born on the 31st October 2019.

What breed are Doyle and Pippa?
They are both West Highland White Terriers or “Westies”, for short.

Sunday Night Trucking

Sunday Night Trucking is no longer a regular Sunday night slot in my Twitch schedule.

I produced the show every Sunday for seven years. Over time it has become more difficult to figure out things to do that I haven’t already done.

We’ve driven every truck down every road and done plenty of crazy other things. SCS make a wonderful and enjoyable trucking game and thanks to fantastic mod creators the durability of the game has been maintained. However, the rate of new mods has slowed over the years and new content from SCS takes time and can’t keep up with my weekly schedule.

It is for these reasons I have stopped making it a weekly show. That doesn’t mean I have stopped playing ETS2 or ATS, I simply will not be playing it every Sunday evening.
